The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) recently published a special issue of Hispania (100.5) to celebrate the centennial of the Association’s founding (1917). The volume includes visionary essays on topics relating to the future teaching of Spanish and Portuguese language, literature, and culture.
With over 300 pages, the Centenary Issue represents the collected work of more than 80 AATSP members at all instructional levels. The initiative focuses on innovation for the teaching of Spanish and Portuguese. Over 30 short essays with more than 40 responses, issue 100.5 covers a wide variety of topics written by and for educators of Spanish and Portuguese.
